The Neon Desert Music Festival returns to El Paso, Texas on Memorial Day weekend for its sixth annual year. Over the past five years, Neon Desert has hosted over 100,000 of concert goers, but from the looks of it, this year’s event is bigger and better than ever with a diverse music lineup to showcase their talents alongside national and international headliners. Including numerous local food vendors, merchants and sponsors. This year's Neon Music Festival welcomes headlining performances from American rock band of the 90’s Deftones, one of the top DJ’s in the world, Tiesto, Future, as well as international sensation Daddy Yankee. To keep the energy going throughout Memorial Day weekend there will be performances from Ludacris; Tyler, The Creator; a special collaboration between A$AP Ferg & Tory Lanez, and many more .
For it being my first music festival outside of Houston. I quite enjoyed myself, being in a different city, getting a kick out of the music performances alongside with two of my really good friends Pedro and Fern. I was able to do what I enjoy doing, capturing the moments of the music festival as they enjoyed the concerts and the energy of the crazy crowds. Despite that this was a last minute road trip, and a ten hour drive across Texas that was surely not on my to do list that weekend & I didn’t get the email to shoot at the Neon Desert Music Festival, until 5 days before the festival. It was truly a great Memorial Day weekend.
